Transportation Specialist
Job Summary
To enhance transportation processes, the full-time Transportation Specialist will analyze existing delivery methods, manage carrier relationships, and develop strategies to reduce costs while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze transportation processes and recommend improvements to align with company objectives
- Monitor shipment statuses and resolve delivery issues with carrier partners and distribution centers
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track transportation KPIs and manage carrier compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Certification in logistics, supply chain, or program management preferred
- Proficiency in data acquisition from various transportation management systems
- Experience with FTL, LTL, and small package operations is a plus
