Tribal Child Care Project Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance the capacity of Tribal early childhood programs, the full-time remote Tribal Child Care Project Specialist will coordinate and develop high-quality training and technical assistance for Tribal Child Care and Development Fund programs, ensuring culturally responsive support for children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of training materials and technical assistance resources for Tribal early childhood programs
• Support the design and delivery of targeted training events and webinars, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles and Indigenous Storywork
• Maintain project timelines and oversee resource development processes to meet project goals and deadlines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Administration, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in early childhood services and training/technical assistance
• Knowledge of Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) regulations and Head Start performance standards
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications and project management tools
• Experience working with Federally recognized Tribes and understanding of American Indian and Alaska Native communities preferred
