Trust and Safety Manager
Job Summary
As the first dedicated leader of Trust & Safety, the full-time remote Senior Manager will define trust protocols, build and lead a Trust & Safety team, and ensure a safe and reliable marketplace through strategic partnerships and policy enforcement.
Key responsibilities
- Define trust protocols and develop response strategies for trust-breaching customer experiences
- Hire and scale a Trust & Safety team focused on policy enforcement and dispute support
- Establish monitoring processes for trust incidents and prepare reports on marketplace trust status
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or related fields, with primary ownership of program design and implementation
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, specifically in dispute resolution and policy enforcement
- Hands-on experience in designing and scaling dispute resolution processes
- Exceptional judgment and decisiveness in high-stakes situations
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced study preferred in a relevant field
