Trust and Safety Manager
Job Summary
As the first dedicated leader of Trust & Safety, the full-time Senior Manager will define trust protocols, build and lead a Trust & Safety team, and develop strategies to maintain a safe and reliable marketplace, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement trust standards, developing protocols for identifying trust-breaching experiences and response strategies
- Transform policies into actionable playbooks, including SOPs and tracking systems for the Trust & Safety team
- Lead investigations into trust-breaching events and provide strategic advice for high-stakes responses
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Trust & Safety or related fields, with at least 3 years in program design and implementation
- Proven track record in building and managing high-performing teams focused on dispute resolution and policy enforcement
- Hands-on experience in designing and scaling dispute resolution processes
- Exceptional judgment and decisiveness in high-pressure situations
- Completion of a 4-year accredited college program; advanced study preferred
