Job Summary
To support a growing claims team, the fully remote TX or FL Licensed Senior Claims Specialist will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex Marine Liability claims while mentoring adjusters and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis to investigate claims exposure and recommend settlement strategies
- Create reservation of rights and coverage denial letters, negotiating settlements with involved parties
- Document and communicate claim activity efficiently to support claim file outcomes
Required qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 7 years related claims experience
- Active Adjusters' licenses in TX or FL (multistate preferred)
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
- Computer experience with related claims and business software
