Job Summary
To lead the TX-RAMP certification process, the part-time 1099 contractor will build and secure an Azure environment, manage technical documentation, and support ongoing compliance reporting in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and configure a secure Azure environment, including identity, networking, logging, backup, and encryption
- Map controls to TX-RAMP requirements and address any gaps
- Prepare and submit the TX-RAMP assessment package, including responding to DIR inquiries
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure and security
- Direct experience with TX-RAMP, GovRAMP, or FedRAMP
- Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls
- Ability to produce clear, audit-ready documentation
- Azure certification (AZ-104, AZ-500, or AZ-305) and at least one security certification (CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CISA)
