UI Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time contract UI Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable test frameworks for web applications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright and manage API validation and database testing
- Conduct testing for complex distributed applications, including Micro Frontends and integration testing
- Enhance QA processes and tools, focusing on test planning, defect management, and continuous improvement of test coverage
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of QA experience across the full SDLC, with expertise in manual and automated testing in Agile environments
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for automation
- Strong skills in API validation using tools like Postman and advanced SQL queries for data validation
- Experience in testing complex applications and end-to-end workflows
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and automation strategy development
