UI/UX Designer
Job Summary
To support the United States Coast Guard, the remote UI/UX Specialist will design user-centered application interfaces, translating complex operational requirements into intuitive digital experiences while collaborating with an Agile team.
Key responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end user experiences from research and wireframes to production-ready UI
- Translate complex operational workflows into clear, efficient interfaces
- Create and maintain a shared design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency
Required qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience designing enterprise or data-dense applications
- Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with alternative prototyping tools
- Strong foundation in interaction design, information architecture, and visual/UI design
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
