UI/UX Developer
Job Summary
To design and build intuitive, accessible interfaces for secure AI-enabled applications, the full-time UI/UX Developer will create user experiences that meet Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams while potentially working remotely during East Coast core business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for AI applications, including dashboards and workflows, utilizing research, wireframes, and prototypes
- Conduct usability assessments and track findings as non-functional requirements in Jira, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards
- Communicate design decisions and progress to internal teams and external stakeholders, while developing training materials and working in Agile sprints
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing accessible, research-driven design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Sketch, and working knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end concepts
- Experience designing user experiences for AI products, including chat assistants and dashboards
- Demonstrated experience with 508/WCAG 2.1 A & AA conformance and usability testing
