Job Summary

Leading policy initiatives for the UK and EU, the full-time salaried UK and EU Policy Manager will advocate for a secure financial ecosystem, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and shape Plaid's regulatory engagement while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, government officials, and industry stakeholders across the UK and EU
• Represent Plaid in industry working groups and policy forums, advocating for open banking, security, and privacy
• Conduct research and analysis to inform Plaid's policy positions and regulatory strategies

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in UK or EU financial services policy, preferably with a regulator or in government
• Strong existing relationships with policymakers, regulators, and consumer groups in the UK or EU
• Proven track record of advocacy and policy influence within financial services
• Resourceful and adaptable approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Curiosity about product, technology, and AI
