UK Licensed EAP Counsellor

Job Summary

Providing compassionate support remotely, the full-time UK Licensed EAP Counsellor will engage with clients through phone, video, chat, and email, delivering single-session counselling and crisis management while maintaining client confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and video counselling, offering in-the-moment support and crisis management in a professional manner
• Thoroughly assess clients to determine suitability for short-term counselling and manage high-risk calls
• Maintain clear clinical documentation and deliver administrative support for service-related inquiries

Required qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 4 diploma in Counselling
• Full registration with a regulatory counselling body (BACP/BPS/UKCP/Other)
• Experience with short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused and CBT
• Training in crisis intervention and support for high-risk clients is beneficial
• Culturally sensitive and flexible in using various communication methods
