Job Summary
To support a growing technology company, the full-time UK Licensed Senior Legal Counsel will manage commercial legal work, including drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on AI-related issues, and partnering with various teams to facilitate business growth in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead commercial negotiations by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements, including enterprise customer and SaaS licenses
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance to structure deals and develop negotiation strategies that support revenue growth and risk management
- Advise on legal considerations related to AI products, including data use, intellectual property, and compliance with relevant regulations
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial legal experience, particularly in drafting and negotiating technology agreements
- Prior in-house legal experience at a technology company, supporting commercial teams and engaging with product stakeholders
- Experience in a startup environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and build scalable processes
- Direct experience advising on AI products or services, including commercial terms and data rights
- A qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction
