Job Summary
Reviewing life insurance applications and policy changes, the full-time remote Underwriter I will assess smaller, less complex cases, evaluate risk, and ensure compliance with established guidelines while working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm CST.
Key responsibilities
- Review and assess life insurance applications and policy changes for smaller cases
- Gather and evaluate data to support risk assessment and decision-making
- Communicate with internal teams and business partners to ensure timely processing of applications
Required qualifications
- Previous experience in Underwriting, Case Management, or a high-production environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make logical decisions
- Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office
- Desire to grow a career in underwriting within a collaborative team
- Access to high-speed internet and located in the United States or Puerto Rico
