Underwriter I

Job Summary

Supporting the analysis and reporting of data, the full-time remote Underwriter I will evaluate standard data to understand premium, claims, and exposure while collaborating with the team to identify actionable insights and assist in developing rates and account plans that mitigate risk.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate standard data to understand premium, claims, and exposure while identifying actionable insights
• Process account activities and collaborate with internal departments to develop rates that mitigate risk
• Conduct account risk assessments and present underwriting recommendations to clients with guidance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in a corporate or business office environment
• Basic knowledge of the health care industry
• Familiarity with applied data analysis and data quality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
