Underwriter I

Job Summary

To support data-driven decision-making, the full-time remote Underwriter I will evaluate standard data related to premium, claim, and exposure while collaborating with team members to identify actionable insights and assist in risk assessment and account planning.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluates standard data to understand premium, claim, and exposure while identifying actionable insights under guidance
• Processes account activities and collaborates with internal departments to develop rates that mitigate risk and support sustainable growth
• Contributes to case review and preparation by conducting risk assessments and presenting underwriting recommendations with some guidance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a corporate or business office environment
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and risk management principles
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
