Underwriter I

Job Summary

To support underwriting initiatives, the full-time remote Underwriter I will evaluate standard data related to premium, claims, and risk exposure while collaborating with team members to identify actionable insights and assist in developing rates and account plans.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluates data to understand premium, claim, and risk exposure, collaborating with the team to identify actionable insights
• Processes account activities and develops rates to mitigate risk while following established methodologies and protocols
• Conducts account risk assessments and presents underwriting recommendations to clients under guidance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a corporate or business office environment
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and risk management principles
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
