Underwriter I

Job Summary

To support underwriting initiatives, the full-time remote Underwriter I will evaluate standard data related to premium, claims, and exposure while collaborating with teams to identify actionable insights and assist in risk assessment and account planning.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluates data to understand premium and claim risks, collaborating with the team to identify actionable insights
• Processes account activities and develops rates that mitigate risk while supporting sustainable membership growth
• Conducts account risk assessments and presents underwriting recommendations to clients with guidance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a corporate or business office environment
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and financial risk management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
