Underwriter I

Job Summary

To support risk management and business strategy analysis, the full-time remote Underwriter I will evaluate data related to premiums, claims, and exposures while collaborating with team members to identify actionable insights and assist in developing rates and account plans.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate standard data to understand premium, claim, and exposure risks while documenting models and tools used in analysis
• Assist in case and underwriting work by processing account activities and developing rates that mitigate risk
• Contribute to case review and preparation by conducting risk assessments and presenting underwriting recommendations with guidance

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a corporate or business office environment
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and risk management principles
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
