Underwriter I

Job Summary

To support business strategy analysis and risk management, the full-time remote Underwriter I will evaluate standard data related to premium, claims, and exposure while collaborating with team members to identify actionable insights and support quality improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate standard data to understand premium, claim, and exposure, and assist in developing rates that mitigate risk
• Process account activities and collaborate with internal departments to execute account plans and support rate negotiations
• Conduct account risk assessments and present underwriting recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a corporate or business office environment
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and financial/underwriting risk management
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments and feedback
