Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Underwriter I will evaluate standard data to understand premiums and claims, collaborate with teams to identify actionable insights, and support risk management initiatives under supervision.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate standard data to understand premium, claim, and exposure risks while documenting models and tools used in analysis
• Assist in processing account activities and developing rates that mitigate risk, collaborating with internal departments to optimize membership growth
• Conduct account risk assessments and present underwriting recommendations to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and guidelines

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a corporate or business office environment
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and financial risk management
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and processes
