Job Summary
To support underwriting initiatives, the full-time remote Underwriter II will evaluate data to assess risk, collaborate on case strategies, and contribute to process improvements while managing client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze standard and nonstandard data to identify actionable insights and assess account risk
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop rates and account plans that mitigate risk and optimize growth
- Engage with external clients to communicate underwriting strategies and address data needs
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of three years of relevant experience in Underwriting or Financial Analysis
- Experience with data analysis and business strategy evaluation
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and underwriting practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data quality assessment
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex information
