Underwriting Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the evaluation and servicing of Commercial Casualty and Enterprise Risk Management accounts, the full-time remote Underwriting Associate will collaborate with Underwriters to analyze account information, prepare underwriting materials, and maintain accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Underwriters with new business and renewal processes by organizing documents and tracking outstanding requirements
• Review loss runs and prepare underwriting summaries and account materials to support evaluation and decision-making
• Serve as a liaison between Underwriters and other departments, ensuring timely communication and accurate information regarding accounts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years of relevant Property and Casualty insurance experience
• Familiarity with Commercial Auto, Commercial General Liability, and Excess Liability coverage preferred
• Ability to review and interpret commercial insurance policies and loss runs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
