Job Summary

Guiding a high-performing team in a remote environment, the full-time Underwriting Manager will oversee underwriting processes, manage pricing and contracting activities, and develop management reports to drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy management monitoring reports to track financial and membership positions
• Manage underwriting, pricing, and contracting activities to ensure adequacy of rates and policy provisions
• Create and maintain core competency in underwriting through recruitment, hiring, and training of team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or 4 years of work experience
• 5 years of underwriting, regulatory, or health insurance consulting experience
• Previous underwriting experience
