Job Summary
To drive profitability and growth, the full-time remote Underwriting Specialist, Excess Liability will underwrite and manage a portfolio of Umbrella and Excess Liability accounts, assessing risks, negotiating pricing, and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the growth and profitability of assigned brokers within the territory
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions for accounts while ensuring contract certainty
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to support business objectives
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in underwriting Umbrella and Excess Liability
- Specialized expertise in Umbrella and Excess Liability products
- Established relationships with brokers at the peer group level
- Experience in a complex, global matrix organization
- Preferably a degree in Economics, Finance, Insurance Management, or Business Administration
