Underwriting Technician

Job Summary

Supporting day-to-day global underwriting functions, the full-time Underwriting Technician will manage submissions, oversee quotes, and ensure the accurate administration of policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the recording and progress of submissions by the underwriting team, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups
• Oversee the use of reinsurance capacity and manage internal and external communications for transaction approvals
• Maintain underwriting files and liaise with Operations, Finance & Accounting for proper billing and premium monitoring

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the insurance sector
• Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a remote work environment
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Confident and self-motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills
