Job Summary
Providing operational support for a critical communications platform, the full-time remote Unified Communications Engineer will manage the Microsoft Teams Phone environment, ensuring reliable voice service through configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for over 600 offices.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and support the Microsoft Teams Phone environment, including user provisioning and call routing
- Troubleshoot and resolve voice quality and connectivity issues across telephony infrastructure
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for the Teams Phone environment
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience administering Microsoft Teams Phone (Direct Routing or Operator Connect)
- Working knowledge of SIP, PSTN, and Session Border Controller (SBC) concepts
- Familiarity with Teams Admin Center, Teams PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API
- Experience with Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) or similar voice analytics tools is a plus
- Prefer 3+ years of previous IT/Telecom experience
