Job Summary
Supporting an organization's communication systems, the full-time Unified Communications Technician will manage and maintain voice, messaging, fax, and collaboration platforms while providing end-user support and troubleshooting in a remote environment, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Unified Communications hardware and software systems, including troubleshooting telephony platforms
- Provide end-user support, answering questions, resolving issues, and assisting in the operation and maintenance of systems
- Participate in new equipment installations and large move projects, while providing on-call support for the UC environment
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of Information Technology experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 1+ year of IT experience
- 1+ year of end-user support experience, preferably with PCs, mobility devices, and telephony support
- Experience with Unified Communications systems and troubleshooting methodologies
- Familiarity with mobile device operating systems such as iOS, iPadOS, and Android
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and external service providers
