Unit Manager, Life Insurance

Job Summary

Leading a team of 6+ employees, the full-time remote Unit Manager, Life Insurance will supervise operations, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure compliance with performance objectives in customer service and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to employees while setting clear performance expectations
• Oversee training and development, manage daily workflow, and ensure adherence to service level agreements
• Accountable for resolving customer inquiries and complaints, while maintaining accurate records and reports

Required qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Previous supervisory and customer service experience required; life insurance experience preferred
• Strong leadership potential with the ability to mentor and coach individuals or groups
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of common software applications and business platforms
