Job Summary

To support the Supply Chain Center, the full-time remote Buyer I or II will manage the procurement of direct and indirect goods and services, ensuring operational needs are met while optimizing price and quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the procurement process for moderate-to-high-dollar/risk purchases and manage stat/emergency orders
• Develop close working relationships with category managers to implement cost, quality, and supply continuity improvements
• Ensure accuracy in requisitions and execute Purchase Orders while maintaining compliance with organizational requirements

Required qualifications:

• Maintain a professional license where necessary, such as a pharmacy tech license for pharmacy buyers
• Experience in a role requiring attention to detail, sound decision-making, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines and priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in ERP and P2P systems
• Two years of demonstrated experience in effective communication and customer service skills with clinical and technical experts preferred
