Job Summary
Providing clinical support in Juvenile Justice and Youth Services (JJYS) facilities, the part-time hourly Utah Licensed Clinical Nurse will assess patients, implement clinical interventions, and develop care plans while collaborating with a clinical team across various locations in Utah.
Key responsibilities
- Identifies and assesses patient health problems through nursing assessment and patient interaction
- Implements evidence-based interventions and formulates care plans for specific patients
- Maintains a safe patient care environment and provides guidance to the healthcare team to ensure quality care
Required qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or eligibility to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system to be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Ability to obtain Certified Correctional Healthcare Professional (CCHP) certification within one year of starting
- Experience in nursing assessment and patient care in a clinical setting
- Compliance with immunization requirements as per CDC standards and hospital policy
