Utah Licensed Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

To support efficient coding processes, the full-time remote Utah Licensed Coding Coordinator will evaluate and resolve coding edits in Epic work queues, review medical documentation for accurate coding, and provide education to medical providers and coders.

Key responsibilities:

• Navigate Epic EMR to manage coding edits and work queues effectively
• Review medical records to assign appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes
• Communicate coding trends and provide training to enhance coding practices

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of professional fee coding experience, with at least three years in the assigned specialty
• CPC or CCS-P certification required
• Experience in E/M coding and specialty-specific service lines
• Preferred experience with Epic and work queues
