Job Summary
Supporting patient care in a fully remote environment, the full-time Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists with medication refill authorizations, ensuring compliance with regulations and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review patient charts and gather clinical information to verify refill eligibility
- Prepare and document refill authorization requests in accordance with state laws and protocols
- Communicate with pharmacists and care team members regarding refill requests and potential safety concerns
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to Utah
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate electronic health records
- Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred
