Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To support pharmacy services, the full-time Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists with medication preparation, customer service, and maintaining accurate records in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assists with all phases of pharmacy services under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Utilizes pharmacy technology to prepare medication orders and compounds medications as needed
- Communicates with caregivers regarding patient concerns and participates in quality and patient safety initiatives
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification as appropriate to practice site
- Ability to effectively use computers and software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
