Job Summary
To support the Cultural Resources Program, the part-time or full-time hourly Utah Licensed Project Archaeologist will manage project deliverables, conduct quality assurance and control, and develop strong relationships with agencies and tribes, working in a hybrid or distributed environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead or assist in project management, ensuring quality assurance and control while developing technical approaches
- Communicate effectively with clients and agencies, fostering strong professional relationships and ensuring project success
- Complete technical reviews of deliverables, adhering to regulatory standards and overseeing report quality
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a closely related field
- Four years of experience in cultural resources management across various project types and agencies
- Strong technical and regulatory knowledge of Utah and Nevada
- Permittable as a Principal Investigator in Utah and Nevada
- Ability to lead projects from start to finish with guidance
