Utah Licensed Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing hydropower and FERC relicensing team, the full-time salaried Utah Licensed Senior Project Manager will provide hydropower planning and technical expertise, manage multidisciplinary projects, mentor staff, and drive business development efforts in a hybrid work environment from Salt Lake City, UT or remotely across the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically lead complex hydropower projects, ensuring quality assurance and alignment with client objectives
• Mentor and develop staff while fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration to enhance project outcomes
• Manage the preparation of licensing documents and environmental compliance deliverables, maintaining strong relationships with clients and regulatory agencies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, natural resource management, geology, or a related field
• Eight (8) years of relevant industry experience, including FERC licensing and environmental compliance documentation
• Four (4) years of experience managing multiple concurrent complex hydropower projects
• Two (2) or more years of environmental consulting experience
• Working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, including NEPA and FERC
