Utility Analyst

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end utility billing process, the full-time Utility Analyst will ensure accuracy and compliance while serving as the in-house expert for the utility bill payment platform in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with utilities, finance teams, and facility contacts to resolve issues and streamline communication
• Onboard new sites into the utility portal and manage the integration of utility accounts into the billing tool
• Prepare monthly variance reports and analyze utility data to identify trends and discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mentality
• Ability to perform moderately complex financial calculations
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to address slightly complex problems
