Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Utilization Review Intake Coordinator will manage the pre-opening and preparation of electronic medical case files for Healthcare Professionals, including scanning, indexing, and processing Utilization Review referrals while assisting with administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Scan, upload, and label case documents into appropriate files
- Process Utilization Review referrals and ensure timely assignment to Healthcare Professionals
- Assist with data entry and overflow administrative tasks as needed
Required qualifications
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in computer programs, including MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skills
