Job Summary
To support the General Services Administration's regulatory systems, the full-time remote UX Designer/Researcher will conduct user research, design enhancements, and validate new platform designs while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to inform enhancements to regulatory systems
- Create process flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to support decision-making and improve user experiences
- Document research findings and design standards to ensure knowledge transfer to the modernized platform
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in UX design and user research
- Demonstrated experience in planning and conducting generative and evaluative research
- Proficiency in creating design artifacts using tools such as Figma, Mural, or Miro
- Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 standards
- Experience working on agile, cross-functional product teams
