UX Researcher

Job Summary

Guiding human-centered discovery and usability evaluation for Army Finance modernization, the remote UX Researcher will develop research plans, conduct user studies, and analyze findings to inform design and process recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop research plans aligned with discovery priorities and deployment milestones
• Conduct interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability studies with Army users to identify workflow pain points
• Analyze findings to create personas and journey maps, and partner with teams to connect research to product decisions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in user research or human-centered design, with 3+ years leading research for complex enterprise workflows
• Experience in planning research studies and conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Proficiency in usability evaluation techniques, including interviews and task analysis
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to manage research logistics and present findings to stakeholders effectively
