UX/UI Designer
Job Summary
Seeking a talented UX/UI Designer, the full-time remote position will lead the design strategy and execution for NASA's analytics applications, focusing on transforming complex data into intuitive user experiences while establishing a foundational design system.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain the team's design system, including components and documentation
- Define user personas and conduct user research to inform design recommendations
- Design high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for data-driven applications and workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- Eight years of experience focused on analytics-driven, data-intensive applications
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex data-driven product design work
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and experience creating a design system from scratch
- Experience defining user personas and conducting user research that influences design
