Job Summary

Key responsibilities
- Underwrite Government and Conventional Loans, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines
- Analyze borrower income, assets, and credit documentation to support loan decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex loan issues and meet performance metrics
Required qualifications
- Current VA SAR Designation
- 2+ years of new mortgage underwriting experience
- Excellent knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
- Deep understanding of federal and state laws related to mortgage lending
- Proficiency in loan origination software and basic computer skills
