VA Licensed Wholesale Underwriter
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Wholesale DE/VA Underwriter, the fully remote position will manage the underwriting of complex and manual VA loans, requiring strong recent Wholesale/TPO underwriting experience and active FHA DE and VA LAPP/SAR designations.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite Wholesale/TPO FHA and VA residential mortgage loans
- Analyze borrower credit, income, assets, liabilities, collateral, and overall loan risk
- Issue underwriting decisions and conditions in accordance with applicable guidelines
Required qualifications
- Recent Wholesale/TPO mortgage underwriting experience
- Active FHA DE designation
- Active VA LAPP/SAR designation
- Must have issued a VA Notice of Value (NOV) within the past 11 months
- Strong recent experience with manual VA underwriting
