Vendor Management Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting vendor relations and contract negotiations, the full-time remote Vendor Management Analyst will manage vendor performance, optimize strategies, and serve as a liaison between business and IT while addressing operational challenges and enhancing business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Guide day-to-day operations and manage vendor relationships, including issue escalation and resolution
• Work with vendor leadership to meet performance targets and drive operational metrics
• Participate in vendor performance reviews and conduct root cause analysis on performance issues

Required qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field or high school/GED with five years of relevant work experience
• Experience in the utility industry
• Proficient in data analysis and preparing recommendations
• Aware of project management theories and principles
• Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals from various backgrounds
