Vendor Management Director

Job Summary

To lead the enterprise vendor management function for a Medicare Advantage health plan, the full-time remote Vendor Management Director will develop governance strategies, oversee vendor performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maximizing value across vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the organization's vendor management and strategic partnership strategy
• Establish enterprise KPIs and performance scorecards to monitor vendor performance
• Oversee governance and performance management of delegated entities and ensure regulatory compliance

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in vendor management or healthcare operations
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing teams and enterprise-level vendor relationships
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field
• Demonstrated experience developing and leading vendor governance programs
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and managed care business models
