Vendor Management Specialist

Job Summary

To support the procurement function, the full-time remote Vendor Management & Sourcing Specialist will manage end-to-end sourcing activities, vendor relationship performance, and data analysis to optimize vendor selection and ensure effective communication with Claims vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities including market research, RFx development, and vendor selection recommendations
• Manage vendor relationships by coordinating communications, performance tracking, and quarterly stewardship meetings
• Conduct spend analysis and maintain data integrity within the vendor tracking system

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance, supply chain, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, or procurement
• Direct experience in workers' compensation or commercial lines insurance
• Proven ability to execute sourcing activities independently, including RFx development and vendor selection
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and performance, including contract review and negotiation support
