Vendor Manager
Job Summary
To manage the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, the full-time Vendor Manager will oversee vendor identification, selection, negotiation, and performance management while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities for clinical trials globally
- Establish and maintain vendor performance measures, including KPIs and scorecards
- Develop strong relationships with vendors, addressing performance concerns and escalations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing, preferably in clinical research or life sciences
- Proven experience managing the vendor lifecycle from sourcing to performance management
- Experience in developing and managing vendor KPIs and performance improvement plans
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills with the ability to analyze vendor capabilities and market alternatives
