Vendor Manager
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Vendor Manager will establish and optimize strategic relationships with third-party vendors, lead performance management, and ensure compliance with service agreements while addressing operational challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Lead weekly meetings with operations teams to review vendor performance and resolve issues
- Monitor vendor compliance with contractual obligations and track performance metrics
- Manage vendor onboarding and maintain all vendor-related documentation
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Seven to ten years of engineering experience or equivalent industry experience
- Five to seven years of supervisory experience
- Hands-on experience in a data center/critical facility
- Moderate knowledge of various manual trades such as carpentry and electromechanical repair
