Job Summary
To support a growing network of investors, the full-time Venture Scout will source companies for investment, initiate conversations with founders, and conduct research on potential investors while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Source and qualify companies raising Series A and later for investment opportunities
- Initiate and manage first conversations with founders and investors to build relationships
- Conduct research on current investors, their interests, and investment stages
Required qualifications
- Active network of founders from accelerators, VC roles, or startup communities
- Ability to craft concise and engaging messages that elicit responses
- Understanding of investment rounds, including stages, cheque sizes, and investor motivations
- Experience using AI tools effectively in a professional context
- Commitment to discretion regarding investor and company information
