Vermont Licensed Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support a growing portfolio of captive insurance clients, the full-time Vermont Licensed Accounting Manager will manage day-to-day accounting operations, present financial statements at board meetings, and mentor team members while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice on compliance requirements and current accounting developments affecting clients
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and other standards
- Train and develop team members while coordinating with various service providers to manage captive clients effectively
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3-10 years of experience in a similar role
- Achievement of Associate in Captive Insurance or a similar designation
- Up-to-date knowledge of GAAP and insurance accounting principles
- CPA designation preferred
