Veterinary Consultant DVM

Job Summary

Serving as a core veterinary technical anchor for the inside sales organization, the full-time Customer Development Consulting Veterinarian DVM will provide scientific education, product consultation, and clinical support through virtual engagements with veterinary practices and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the clinical and technical expert for the inside sales team, delivering consultative support and overcoming clinical hurdles
• Conduct virtual educational sessions and product presentations for veterinary staff, enhancing engagement and understanding of Elanco products
• Maintain advanced knowledge of veterinary trends and Elanco products while collaborating on training modules for sales specialists

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD, or equivalent) from an AVMA-accredited program
• Active veterinary license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical veterinary practice experience, focusing on companion animals
• Proven experience in virtual communication of complex scientific data via platforms like Teams and Zoom
• Strong self-direction and organizational skills to manage high-volume daily virtual interactions
